To complement the wider music learning resources, Spink Comhaltas has launched a SoundCloud service for all of its members and followers.

The existing Traditional Irish Music books which Spink Comhaltas developed 4 years ago comprise 2 separate volumes of music, with over 170 tunes. These music books have been put together for the specific purpose of developing young musicians up to expert standard, and have a wide range of tune types including popular seisiún tunes as well as competition tunes.

The SoundCloud service provides a high quality recording of these tunes played exactly as per the music book, without ornamentation or variation. These tunes can be listened to on a mobile phone via the SoundCloud app.
