Classes

Our junior classes take place on Friday evenings in Knock Community Hall, Spink.  The junior classes run from mid-September to the start of June. Music is taught in small groups, to encourage the social aspect of playing together, and musicians are streamed with other musicians of similar ability.

Classes are typically 30 minutes in duration.

Spink Comhaltas has developed its own set of music books which are provided to all musicians, and which have a comprehensive collection of tunes.

Our adult classes take place on Monday evenings in Heritage House, Abbeyleix, and cater for complete beginners up to experienced musicians who have had a break from music and are looking to re-start their own music development.
